Use out-of-the-box templates for processes such as expense reports, purchase requests, IT requests, help desk requests, access requests, and leave requests, or build your own custom process apps with the open source ProcessMaker process designer. Run workflows seamlessly in a mobile app on cellphones and tablets using Android and iOS, and in a web application on desktop computers.

1. Build – Use your web browser on a desktop computer to log in to your installation of ProcessMaker and create custom process maps, responsive HTML5 forms, and other workflow components. The REST API can be used to design custom interfaces that connect remotely to the ProcessMaker server.
2. Run – Execute your processes by creating new cases and managing your task inbox from the ProcessMaker mobile app or in the ProcessMaker web application on desktop computers. Fill out forms in both online and off-line mode. Mobile controls such as finger signatures, barcodes, photos, audio, video, and geo tags can be used in the forms.
3. Report – In the ProcessMaker web application, build custom dashboards and reports for managers and employees to help them better manage their workload.
4. Optimize – Study the performance metrics and use information gathered while running cases to improve your processes.

On your cellphone, go to the main screen and look for the Play Store. Once opened, you will see different downloadable applications, such as games, movies, music and books. To get ProcessMaker app, tap on the search bar at the top of the screen. Write ""ProcessMaker"" and tap on the first search result that appears, which is the ProcessMaker app.

Now, it is possible to download ProcessMaker by tapping on the INSTALL button. A new smaller window will open where a message emerges to ask the user if they want to grant the app the permissions listed. Tap on the ACCEPT button to begin the process of installation. This may take a few moments.

When the "ProcessMaker" app finishes installing, a notification on the cellphone shows that it has been successfully installed and a new icon will appear on the main screen. Now, tap on ProcessMaker icon on the main screen to open the application.

Getting ProcessMaker from the Play Store Web Page

ProcessMaker can be downloaded from the Play Store web page by going to this link. Click on the Install button.

Note that the user must be logged in to his/her Gmail account; otherwise, the following page will be displayed.

Once logged in, select the device associated to the Gmail account where ProcessMaker Mobile will be installed and click on Install.

The following message will be displayed, and ProcessMaker Mobile will be downloaded automatically to the device selected the next time the device has internet access.

Starting with ProcessMaker Mobile

The moment "ProcessMaker" is opened, a summary of the product features will appear. Each of the screens shows a brief description of a few ProcessMaker's funcionalities:

The last screen will show a login screen. Tap on the Login button if you already have credentials, otherwise click on the Register button. If you do not have credentials, tap on the Register button and fill in the information in the window that appears. Tap on Continue after all of the fields are filled in. After tapping the Login button or registering a new account, the next window displays the user(name) and password fields. Either enter your login credentials into the fields or sign in with a Google account.

Note: When updating the ProcessMaker Mobile app, remember that the application depends on the release of the new version of ProcessMaker. Many of the functionalities of the application change with the update of ProcessMaker Web Edition. This means that the mobile app must be used with the latest version of ProcessMaker. We recommend disabling automatic updates to avoid any inconvenience.

Uninstalling ProcessMaker

To uninstall ProcessMaker Mobile, either look for the application in the Google Play Store and tap on the Uninstall option, or simply drag and drop the ProcessMaker icon on your smartphone's homescreen to the recycle bin.

For Android Lollipop 5.X users, it is recommended to uninstall ProcessMaker Mobile by going to Settings > Applications > ProcessMaker > More, and tapping on the Uninstall for all users option to avoid possible re-installation issues.
